Submission Instructions for Full Papers
Full papers follow the conventional scientific publication format, with a maximum length of 10 pages (including figures, tables, and references). The NanoOstrava 2025 full papers will be published in a Special Issue of the online open-access journal IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering indexed in Scopus and Web of Science and be available online via full open access under a CC-BY license.
Please, follow next instructions to submit your full paper:
- You must submit your full paper by 30 June 2025.
- Submission needs to be done through Morressier platform (IOP system).
- You must use the template provided in the link above to submit your full paper.
- You must also follow the IOP author guidelines: Author guidelines for conference proceedings - IOPscience - Publishing Support
- Only a PDF file will be accepted for submission.
- You must adhere to the journal’s ethical policy: Ethical policy for journals - IOPscience - Publishing Support
- You will be notified about full paper acceptance by 25 August 2025.
Article processing fee is 100€ per article and will be charged individually to the corresponding author at the time of acceptance of the entire issue of the proceedings.

Conference abstracts
Please follow the format of the Abstract_template_nom2025.
Please send the abstract by 20 April, 2025 to Sylva Holesova on the following e-mail address: sylva.holesova@vsb.cz . Subject should include the topic name/number and type of work you wish to present (oral presentation/poster presentation).
Presentations
Oral presentation should be prepared in format of MS PowerPoint .ppt(pps) or .pdf running in standard Windows environment. Please contact your section chairman before your presentation, to test your presentation in advance. Guiding template will be provided for all registered and invited speakers that should be followed for the presentation.
Invited lecture is 30 min long and regular presentation 15 min long.
Posters
Posters should be prepared in A0 format approx. 90 x 120 cm or smaller. To place your poster on the Poster section panel, please follow the instructions at the Registration Desk. Your poster will be assigned a number.
